Magic Central is, in fact, a place, but a mobile one. It doesn’t travel on wheels, and it’s not a houseboat. The rural Michigan cabin in which Breathe Owl Breathe live, play, wrote and recorded their first record for the Hometapes label IS Magic Central. However, it’s also the incorporeal gift this close-knit trio imparts on an audience every time they perform.
